The JSI leads efforts to build and support a strong ELLIOT research community, focusing on researcher mobility, event organisation, connecting to ELLIS and to other projects, and ensuring the sustainable uptake of project results, while collaborating on dissemination and exploitation. JSI also contributes to research tasks, including fine-tuning, bias mitigation, and MGFM explainability.
The Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) is Slovenia's leading research institute for natural science and engineering, with over 1000 scientists working on foundational and applied research in a variety of fields, including Computer and Information Sciences. The Department of Knowledge Technologies focuses on the development of AI methods and their applications in medicine, biology, agronomy, ecology, and humanities by using multilingual and cross-lingual NLP, representation learning, neuro-symbolic learning and knowledge graphs.
